Description

Isa graduated in 2020 from Birmingham University with a master’s in composition studying under Michael Zev Gordon, Daria Kwiatkowska and Ryan Latimer. Isa has since written for the Dutch ensemble Orkest De Ereprijs as a participant in their Young Composers Meeting, Psappha as part of the ‘Composing For…’ scheme, the Birmingham-based Orchestra in the Shape of a Pear and soprano Josephine Shaw.

‘Dreamery’ has a variety of definitions: the dream world (Collins English Dictionary), impractical fancies (Merriam-Webster Dictionary) or a place suited for dreaming (Wiktionary). Isa has added her own definition for this word: a place where dreams are generated. If you’d like to be guided through the experience of this dreamery have a look through the numbered phases below.
